Nikolaos Dimitriadis

Trizma Neuro, University of Sheffield International Faculty

An award-winning communications professional, educator and consultant. Dr. Dimitriadis is the author of the book “Neuroscience for Leaders: A Brain Adaptive Leadership Approach” (Kogan Page, London) and spoke at TEDx University of Strathclyde for the urgent need for Brain-Based Communication. He is a certified Neuromarketer and a contributor to the Neuromarketing Manager Program at Hamburg Media School. He has worked with IKEA, IBM, JTI, Nestle, Banca Intesa, Holcim, Pierre Fabre, Coca Cola, Raiffeisen Bank, Rauch, Teekanne, USAID and others. He is a mentor of startups at the ICT HUB, Belgrade, Serbia. He is currently the Development Director at The University of Sheffield International Faculty, City College. Dr. Dimitriadis is a strong advocate of brain-based solutions to business challenges.

Robert Kaše

Faculty of Economics in Ljubljana

Robert Kaše is an Associate Professor of Management and Organization at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Ljubljana, Department of Management and Organization, where he teaches various courses at the undergraduate, graduate, MBA and PhD level. His current research interests include social networks (relationships at work), strategic HRM, careers, and teamwork/emergence. His work has been published in journals like the Organization Science, the Human Resource Management, the International Journal of Human Resource Management. He is an Associate Editor of the Human Resource Management (Wiley) and on advisory/editorial boards of Human Resource Management Review (Elsevier), Journal of Organizational Effectiveness (Emerald) and Economic & Business Review. He is frequently involved in organization of academic conferences, workshops and tracks. Supporting interaction between research and practice he is an active member of the Slovenian HR Association, regular speaker at professional conferences, lecturer at executive trainings, and time-permitting works on applied projects, where he disseminates knowledge and learns from interesting organizations and talents.

Marija Felkel

Hrvatski Telekom d.d., Member of the Management Board and Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO)

Marija Felkel is a member of the Management Board and Chief Human Resources Office. She graduated from University of Zagreb, Faculty of Law, in 1998. As a lawyer by education, she began her professional life in public administration and very soon became a specialist in labour law. In 2004, she joined Siemens Croatia. In this international corporation, over a period of more than ten years of work, she was responsible for all HR processes, leading a broad range of projects in the area of human resources. Particularly outstanding are the results in drawing HR functions nearer to business functions; under Marija's leadership, the HR function truly developed into a recognised partner of the company's business management. This way, she gained rich experience, having held all managerial positions – from Personnel Administration Manager to Head of Human Resources.

Nataša Houmark

Johnson & Johnson, Regional HR Lead Central Eastern Europe

Nataša Houmark has 15 years of experience as HR Lead & Business Partner in multinational environment (Imperial Tobacco, Sparkasse bank, Goodyear, Johnson & Johnson). With her diverse experience from various organizational structures & cultures, various regional HR processes, remuneration systems, employee relations, mergers & acquisitions and leading international HR teams, she is able to contribute to wide and efficient corporate HR agenda. She believes in continuous, focused people development in accordance with business strategy through developing core organizational capabilities through efficient Talent Management as well as through efficient process cycles. The art of HR in her opinion is to place efficient and adequate HR agenda in most complex, multinational, matrix organized environments with measurable outcomes, contributing to business results, together - in partnership with business leaders.

Tamara Valenčič

D.Labs, Independent HRM Consultant and Strategic Advisor to the Board

Tamara Valenčič is people development, talent management, organizational design and communication expert, successfully joining expertise into creating company cultures of engagement and effectiveness. Her career ranged from governmental office to Chamber of Commerce, via telecommunication industry and international corporation to start up world. She is working as independent strategic advisor on the field of HRM, organizational design and talent management and is also strategic advisor to the Board at D.Labs Slovenia. She was awarded with regional ProPR Award and HR Manager of the year in Slovenia. She is an active member and lecturer of various Slovene associations and member of editorial board of Slovene HRM Magazine.

Matej Erjavec

Basketball Federation of Slovenia, President

Matej Erjavec is the president of the Basketball Federation of Slovenia since 2014 and former basketball player for the Janče, Parklji and Slovan. Today he is a university graduate lawyer who has been running his law firm since 2003. Prior to that, he was a professional associate of the District Court in Ljubljana and an intern at the Higher Court in Ljubljana. In the years before he took the position as the president of the KZS, he played an important part in organizational team of EuroBasket 2013 as a legal expert.

Radoslav Nesterović

Basketball Federation of Slovenia, Secretary General

Radoslav Nesterović is the Secretary General of the Basketball Federation of Slovenia. He started his basketball career at the parent club Slovan. He later progressed and became the first Slovenian citizen who regularly played in the NBA. He was also playing in the Slovenian national team. Nesterović was a first-round draft pick (17th overall) of the Minnesota Timberwolves in the 1998 NBA Draft. In his second season with the San Antonio Spurs, 2004–05, he remained the starting center for the majority of the season, and ultimately won an NBA title with the Spurs that year. After 12 years of playing he ended up with a successful career in NBA league. Nesterović played at five European championships, as well as at the 2006 World Cup and the 2008 Olympic qualifying round. He has been basketball captain from 2004 until the retirement in 2008. After completing the basketball career, he accepted the offer of the Basketball Federation of Slovenia and became the Ambassador of Eurobasket 2013 in Slovenia. Since 2014 he is the Secretary General at the KZS.

Rado Trifunović

Coach of the men's basketball team of Slovenia

Rado Trifunović is the coach of the men's basketball team of Slovenia. As a 1st Class coach he has extraordinary playing and coaching experience. He has worked in both spheres, in Slovenia and abroad, and also played for the Slovenian men's national team, for which he collected 11 appearances. In addition to a great playing and coaching career, he won the gold medal with the Slovenian men's national team in the 2017 European Championship as a coach assistant.

Katja Hleb

Katja Hleb has 20 years of experience in the field of executive search, selection and development and vast experience in advising an actively participating in designing and forming top edge human potential management strategies and practices. She has lectured to more than 30 TMT’s of top Slovenian and foreign companies on several subjects related to business psychology, including the innovative program Peak performance Psychology for financial traders and Investors. She has developed a PDP, authored program for helping design personal purpose/career development plan and executed more than 30 PDPs for top class executives and owners. Her company operated in 8 CEE countries in several industries, pharmaceutical, finance, IT/TC, FMCG, associations and family owned enterprises. She has lectured or gave speeches at several HR conferences and has served as the President of the National Committee for proposing and selecting the members of the Supervisory Boards to biggest State owned enterprises at SDH. She is a certified mediator at the Court of Justice in Republic of Slovenia. At the moment she is Partner at Be Solutions and leads a one year project of heading Learning and development department at Studio Moderna. She holds University and Scientific Masters degree in Psychology and University degree in Kinesiology. At the moment she is a PhD student at IEDC Bled School of Management, her main investigative focus are 5D Organisational cultures and Highly conscious (quantum) leadership. In 2018 she along with partners plans to establish an International Institute for highly conscious leadership.

Gregor Rajšp

Mercator d.d., HR director

He has almost a 10 years of experience in the field of working with people inside organizations. Almost half of his career he was working in Mercator's disability company. He is constantly working in retail, and at the beginning of his career he had the opportunity to work in the international environment (Aldi Group). From 2015 he is the director of human resources and organization in Mercator, d.d. Otherwise, he is a lawyer by education. From the beginning of 2016 he is the President of the Trade Section and the head of the Negotiating Group for the Collective Agreement on wholesales and trade at the Association of Employers of Slovenia. He is also active in several working groups of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia, especially in the field of labor legislation. Since July 2017 he has also been the Chairman of the Management Board of the Slovenian Human Resources Association. He is also an active member of the Young Leaders Club at the American Chamber of Commerce and the President of the Supervisory Board of Mercator invalidsko podjetje, d.o.o.

Metoda Debeljak

Zavarovalnica Triglav, d.d., Director of HRM Department

Metoda Debeljak, graduated from the Faculty of Arts, History of Art Programme, at the University of Ljubljana. Later she proceeded with her master study at postgraduate level at the Faculty of Social Sciences in Ljubljana in the field of Human Resources Management and Labour Relations and obtained a M.Sc. degree in 2016. She is employed at Zavarovalnica Triglav since 1999 on, and has been performing various duties there in the field of human resources management. From 2013 on, she has been performing the duties of the Director of the Human Resources Department in Zavarovalnica Triglav, the leading insurance company in Slovenia.

Dennis Kight

The Firehorse Collective, LLC, Co-Founder

Dennis has been passionate about Human Resources and employee engagement ever since taking his first Organizational Behavior course in University. He graduated from BYU-Hawaii with a Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Development, and went on to study Organizational Psychology, graduating with a Master’s degree from Columbia University in New York City. While completing his Master’s degree, Dennis worked with CBS News Division, and completed special projects for BBDO Worldwide Advertising. Since graduating, Dennis has worked for Motorola, Inc in South Florida, Dubai, UAE, and in the Silicon Valley during the internet boom. He’s also worked for Cisco Systems, and IBM when he returned once again to Dubai. While at Cisco, Dennis was instrumental in hiring and integrating the first female workforce in hi-tech in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Most recently Dennis headed the MEA Executive Leadership Development organization for IBM, where his primary focus was on identifying and developing a robust and diverse pipeline of executive potential leaders. Dennis recently co-founded The Firehorse Collective, LLC, and is currently pursuing an International Coach Federation certification as an executive coach. Dennis’ favorite motto is “Life is too short for bad chocolate, and mediocre leaders.”

Gabriele Metz

Ericsson, Head of Talent Management RMEA GF HR Talent Management

Gabi joined Ericsson in 2013 to lead the Talent Management organization in the Middle East region. Prior to joining Ericsson, Gabriele spent 18 years at Motorola in various HR capacities. She brings the insight and experience of a variety of HR functions applied across several geographies including Europe, Middle East and Africa. Her passion for strengthening young diverse talent developed during her very first HR role and continues to this day. Gabi has a particular passion in developing young talent, and was instrumental in creating a mentoring and coaching program specifically geared to help young talent find their true purpose. She has received regional recognition specifically for her work in diversity and for creating a mentoring circle to address the development of female talent. He has 30 years of experience in marketing and management of which 18 years are in multinationals such as Philip Morris, Diageo and LVMH. He has entrepreneurial experience with startups in management consulting, marketing and HRM. He has operated with annual turnover of 350 million euros in 4 business units, 6 market units and 7 countries with a total of more than 3,000 employees. He participated in the integration and merger of companies (IDV in UD, Droga and Kolinska, Grandprom) and in the reorganization of the DK Group in collaboration with Stearn & Stewart. In 2010 he led the sales process of Droga Kolinska which was successfully completed by the acquisition by Atlantic Grupa. He is a certified coach with NLP Richard Bandler diplomas - Society and Coaching and Mentoring at Oxford Brookes University, pro bono coach and mentor to many young entrepreneurs and managers in the CEED, IEDC MBA, YES Yunior and Amcham Young Professionals programs. He is also President of Ski Association of Slovenia, President of the Association of Advertisers of Slovenia and Chairman of the Board of Directors at Prava osebna zavarovalnica d.d.

Žiga Vavpotič

Živa Vavpotič is a Chairman (with Chief Financial Officer and Chief Revenue Officer roles as well) of Oufit7 Limited with passion, fun and joy (and, of course, with hard work). He is the owner of Globaldreamvision ltd., co-founder of Ypsilon Institute (one of the best know youth organizations in Slovenia), social enterprise Simbioza Genesis and ABC start up accelerator, and the co-initiator of the Centre for Social Entrepreneurship of University of Ljubljana, think tank Act Tank and many social responsible projects and initiatives in Slovenia. He has a BA in Economy, a BA in Political Science (major: International Relations) and MA in Sociology (Governance of Non-profit Organization). He is also the author of My Very Own Book (available in Slovene and English), My Very Own Pocket Book and Heart Book of my Life (both only in Slovene). He loves creating. Ivan Erenda

Ivan graduated from the University of Ljubljana with a Bachelor of Science of Chemical Technology. After obtaining his degree, he continued into postgraduate school to obtain his Master's degree in International and Diplomatic Studies and Doctoral degree of Quality Management on the topic of INTUITIVE DECISION MAKING. He works as a successful top manager in the highly demanding automotive industry, where he has over five years of experience in managing large groups of people (500+) and over 10 years of experience of managing medium-sized groups of people (100+). Guided by true leaders and shaped through several leadership positions, he has developed and sharpened his intuitive competencies. His research interests include management, crisis management, psychology and psychic phenomena. Ivan currently lives with his family in Novo mesto, Slovenia. Marko Narat

Marko Narat is a last year student of the bachelor program Administrative Information Systems at the Faculty of Administration and the Faculty of Computer and Information Science, University of Ljubljana. Despite his young age, he has gained many experiences in the field of informatics and programming. As a student, he acquired his first work experience as an IT administrator and a Computer Repair Technician at Public Institutions Young Dragons and Mala Ulica and as a developer at a startup named Styliff - a virtual dressing app. At the moment, he is learning new skills at Iconomi, where he joined a group of programmers and developers in developing Java back-end solutions. In addition to his career achievements, he also takes pride in his success in the debate competitions and with achievements as a dancer.
